  1. Thought those ads were familiar. I used to have a copy of that mag. Until an ex "loaned" it to a friend and promptly fell out with them.

    Same happened with my copy of Nik Cohn's Today There Are No Gentlemen.

  2. I know exactly how you feel,the same thing has happened to me so many time over the years that at this stage I think my days of book/dvd/magazine "loans" have finally come to an end.
    And it's getting harder to replace things because a lot of the stuff is now out of print and selling for crazy money when it does turn up
    for sale..like your copy of Today There Are No Gentlemen for instance : (

    Doing all the sharing/loaning online these days instead ; )

  4. I remember there was a Mata Hari on the King's Road near the s-bend at the World's End for a short while. I used to cross the road there to go to primary school.
